I doubt anyone liked Luke in the beginning - he's a stuck up brat who doesn't know his place at all in the least and in the end, well. But as time passed and he started on his quest for redemption after that absolutely Nice Job of Breaking It Hero he started to grow on me, because deep down he's a great guy, and the finale was certainly something pretty nice even if its questionable even until now.
